We had a really busy week last week and another busy week is approaching!

Wednesday – school photos!
On Wednesday, a photographer will be in school to take photos individually and with siblings.
Please make sure your child comes into school in full smart school uniform.
Wednesday – PE day. Please come to school in school uniform for the school photos and bring your PE kit in with you to change into later on during the day. Please can you also bring a named bag with you so that uniform can be put into the bag to avoid any items of clothing going missing.
Thursday – PE and forest school.
Friday – every Friday, on the table out where year 3/4 are dismissed, there will be a lost property box for year 3 and 4. Please feel free to come and have a look if needed.

Ruby class have worked exceptionally well this week!
Please can you make sure school uniform is labelled. This way it will be easier to identify the item of clothing to the child.
Homework
Mrs McChrystal sent home homework books on Wednesday. The children were asked to write the date at the top of the page they needed to complete.
Those who did not go home with homework books please can you look at home to see if you can find them as they did not return to school before the end of the year last year.
Homework is usually due back on a Monday but on this occasion it will be Tuesday 20th due to the bank holiday.

Friday – PTA mudder mayhem and also it’s Jeans for Genes day. Your child may come into school in their own clothes but it must include jeans. Please bring in a £1 donation for charity.
What an amazing first week back Ruby class have had!
This week we have been looking at a wordless picture book called Journey by Aaron Becker and have produced a fantastic descriptive piece of writing and an art work of beautiful lanterns that were found in the forest as seen in the story.
We have had time to explore our new classroom as well as build new friendships and challenge ourselves during independent learning time.
Next week:
This term we are going to have PE on a Wednesday and Thursday, so please can you make sure your child comes into school wearing appropriate PE clothes.
Next Thursday there will be an opportunity to see your child’s art work and writing in the KS2 hall between 3.00 -3.30pm.
PE this week will be on Thursday, so please can you make sure your child is wearing their PE kit into school. PE kit is a plain white t-shirt, their school jumper, black leggings/jogging bottoms and trainers.
I will confirm later during this week when PE will be next week.
