Last week we started our new class text ‘The Bluest of the Blues’ and began looking at our main character. We made inferences based on her life, character and personality. In maths, we finished our unit on money and now we are looking at time! This term we are carrying on learning about plants in science and we can’t believe how big and tall our plants are growing!
A few reminders:
Mr Hulme has relaxed the dress code and children no longer need to wear ties or blazers due to the heat. However, on Thursday 15th June (this Thursday) we have class photos so children need to come into school in full uniform including their blazer and tie.
We also have PE on Thursday with Miss Bracken so please bring your PE kit (in a named bag) into school to change into after school photos.
The weather is getting very warm so please send your child into school with a named water bottle and a sunhat to ensure they stay hydrated during the day.
Thank you!!
Miss McGill
St David’s House (yellow) received the most house points at end of Term 5. So, if you are in St David’s house you may come into school tomorrow (7th June) wearing your own clothes! Well done!
